Atletico Madrid wins it late against PSG at Parc Des Prince

 

Angel Correa scored a last minute goal to help Atlético Madrid defeat Paris Saint-Germain away from home.

The Spanish team won 2-1 against the French champions, leaving the host in the elimination zone.

Paris Saint-Germain’s disappointing Champions League campaign stumbled to a new low on with the home loss to Atletico Madrid left them in the elimination zone.

They got the first goal in the game but eventually stumbled to the Spanish side who fought for a comeback.

PSG took the lead in the 14th minutes, courtesy of younsterWarren Zaire Emery’s goal.

However, Atlético Madrid levelled back four minutes later, with Nahuel Molina hitting the back of the net.

The game looked to be heading to a largely disappointing draw until Angel Correa’s dramatic winner, three minutes into second-half stoppage time.

On as a substitute, Correa stabbed past Gianluigi Donnarumma following a fast counter-attack.

Diego Simeone’s Atleti are now two points and two places above their opponents at the league phase.

PSG are 25th on the log, with just four points from four matches.
