The Miami Heat had a solid 2023-2024 season, finishing with a 46-36 record under coach Erik Spoelstra. They made it to the Eastern Conference First Round, where they ultimately lost to the Boston Celtics 4-1. Jimmy Butler led the team with an impressive 9.1 win share.

Ware possesses a highly-coveted skill set, including the ability to stretch the floor on offense while protecting the rim on defense.

-Pelle Larsson: The Heat acquired Larsson from the Atlanta Hawks as the 44th overall pick. Larsson started in each of his 36 appearances with the Arizona Wildcats in 2023-2024, averaging 12.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game while shooting an impressive 51.9% from the field and 42.6% from beyond the arc.

-Nikola Djurisic: The Heat initially drafted Djurisic with the 43rd overall pick but traded him to the Atlanta Hawks.
