Robert Lewandowski’s first half goal helped Barcelona overcame Getafe at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
The win ensured Hansi Flick’s side continue their perfect start to the League, with seven wins out of seven games.
The league leader were without Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who is set to be out of the season, following an injury against Villareal. He was replaced by Inaki Pena.
Lewandowski continued his red-hot streak after he pounced on David Soria’s blunder in the 19th-minute to fire Barca ahead.
Barcelona looked fairly comfortable afterwards but were wasteful, missing a host of chances.
Polish forward Lewandowski could have doubled the lead only to be denied by the Soria. Lamine Yamal’s curling effort was also expertly pushed away by Soria.
The young winger also hit the crossbar with another as Raphinha spurned a good chance late on to add the second.
Barca were lucky to secure the victory as Getafe’s Borja Mayoral fired wide a golden chance at the death.
The Blaugrana now have 21 points from a possible 21, as they sit four points clear at the summit of La Liga.
