Angel Correa scored a 95th minute equaliser as Atletico Madrid grabbed an incredible 1-1 draw against Real Madrid.

Real Madrid looked to have settled the derby tie with Eder Militao’s second half goal, however, Correa’s stoppage time goal ensured the points were shared.

The game was suspended just after Militao’s goal amid trouble in the stands focused on the Atletico Madrid ultras.

The game was full of light as brilliant saves from both goalkeepers kept the game reduced to 1-1.

Courtois had a brilliant save with his leg to stop Julian Alvarez’s attempt in the first eight minutes. Oblak also produced an incredible save to deny Federico Valverde’s long range shot.

The half time ended in a goalless draw but was lighten with goals and events in the second.

Real Madrid broke the deadlock in the 65th minute. Luka Modric passed a free kick to Vinicius Jnr, who sent a cross to a free Militao to shot in for the opener.

Another brilliant save from Oblak stop Real Madrid from getting their second from Vinicius solo effort.

The game was suspended afterwards as hundreds of home fans were incensed as former player, Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian was disturbed with lighters and had objects thrown at him.

Diego Simeone and captain Koke pleaded with the masked fans to stop amid the unprecedented step of suspending the game.

However, as the visitors dug in, the home side kept themselves alive as they search for an equaliser. Samuel Lino almost scored for Los Rojiblancos but was denied by Courtois.

However, substitute Angel Correa met a through pass and bundled home an equaliser in the fifth minute of added time.

The game ended with a red card for Marcos Llorente. The Atlético man was sent off in the last minute for a clumsy challenge on Fran Garcia.

The derby draw ensured Barcelona maintain a 3 point lead in the league despite their disappointing loss to Osasuna.
