Chelsea’s four-game winning streak in the Premier League ended as 10-man Nottingham Forest battled to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Forest side took the lead through Chris Wood’s 49th-minute goal, but Noni Madueke’s brilliant solo equaliser eight minutes later leveled the score for Chelsea.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men when James Ward-Prowse was sent off for handball in the 76th minute, but Forest survived a frantic 13-minute stoppage time to earn a point.

Goalkeepers Robert Sanchez and Matz Sels produced remarkable saves to deny Chelsea and Forest, respectively, as the visitors maintained their strong start to the season.

Maresca’s decision to rotate his squad paid off, with Forest showing discipline and resilience to secure a valuable draw.
