Ejuke Wins Sevilla’s Player Of The Month Award

Chidera Ejuke has been named by Sevilla as the player of the month for September.

The Nigerian international has just a goal in five league appearances for Sevilla in September. However, he was brilliant with good performances, especially in the 1-1 draw against Athletic Bilbao.

The talented winger netted the winning goal in Sevilla’s 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid on September 24.

Joining on a free transfer in the summer from Russian club CSKA Moscow, Ejuke was exceptional during the pre-season for Sevilla.

He also carried the same feat to the league and assisted in their latest victory over Real Betis.

Howbeit, his excellent displays for Sevilla has earned him a recall to the Nigerian squad. He will be joining the team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against the Libya.

The Super Eagles will entertain the Mediterranean Knights at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday. They will travel to face same opponent in Benina next week Tuesday.
