Cristiano Ronaldo scored a 97th-minute penalty to clinch a 2-1 victory for Al-Nassr over Al-Shabab in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo secured all three points for his team from 12 yards, sending Kim Seung-Gyu the wrong way to score his sixth goal of the season.
Earlier, Al-Nassr had gone ahead through Aymeric Laporte in the 69th minute, after a corner rebounded into his direction.
However, substitute Ali Alhassan sent a clearance into his own net in the 90th minute to slim all hopes for a win.
Ronaldo’s penalty gave the visitors the lead after Robert Renan fouled Abdulrahman Ghareeb in the box.
The drama wasn’t over as Mohamed Simakan was penalised for a stamp on Nader Al-Sharari inside the area. The new signing received his second yellow card, handing Al-Shabab a glorious chance to level.
However, Abderrazak Hamdallah sent his kick into the woodwork, gifting Al-Nassr all points.
The win is Al-Nassr’s fifth win of the campaign, taking them to second place with 17 points, behind Al-Hilal.
Meanwhile, Al-Hilal maintained their perfect run with a 3-0 rout of Al-Fayha. They are now unbeaten in 43 league games since a 2-0 defeat at Al-Adalah in May 2023.
Al-Ahli also rounded off Al-Khaleej 3-0, with goals from Feras Al Brikan, Ivan Toney and Merih Demiral.
