Having won just one out of fifteen games against Inter Milan, AS Roma will be hoping to break the jinx as they welcome the league champions.
New coach, Ivan Juric, who replaced Danielle de Rossi last month, believes his side can stand up against Inter.
Juric have had a fair run since taking over, managing five games, with two wins, two draws and a loss in the Europa League.
The Croatian however claims he team is capable of breaking the Inter side, with their aggressiveness and positioning.
“I saw a very aggressive Roma and it seems to me that the players are capable. We need to pick up from there because more that physicality and running, it’s more of positioning and understanding”, Juric said.
Roma are 9th on the table, with two wins, four draws and a loss. Inter are however second on the table, behind Napoli.
Meanwhile, Lazio travels to face Juventus and coach Marco Baroni acknowledges the clash as a tough test for his team.
Baroni however retains faith on his team’s tactics ahead of the game in Turin.
“I try to put my players in the best conditions and we are continuing on this path. I’m not worried, as long as the team is working on both the attack and defense, we are on the right path”, he said.
On the other side, Juventus coach, Thiago Motta is eager to see a positive performance from his players against Lazio.
Motta said, “I saw a lot of good things in this last training session. They had a great training session and we will be ready to face Lazio.”
In some other games, AC Milan clashes with Udinese, Napoli travels to Empoli, while Atalanta visits Venezia.
