Kylian Mbappe has won the salary case against Paris Saint-Germain and PSG has been ordered to pay him the €55 million they owe him.
Earlier this month, there was a hearing between the representatives of Mbappe and PSG as their ongoing wage dispute.
Mbappe played the last three months of his PSG contract from April to June without been paid. The refusal to pay the wages came amid a dispute and a messy divorce between the two parties.
According to the French giant, they claimed to have had an oral agreement with the France captain as regards his move to Real Madrid. They believed to have agreed that they wouldn’t lose out financially, if he is to leave on a free transfer, which he did.
However, the LFP’s legal committee ordered PSG to pay their former player €55m in unpaid wages and bonuses. The ruling is now being studied by the LFP’s Advisory Joint Appeals Commission.
Meanwhile, PSG can still further contest the decision, whilst Mbappe could also refer the dispute to UEFA.
