Manchester United agrees to appoint Ruben Amorim as new Head Coach amidst huge release clause 

Manchester United have agreed with Sporting CP to appoint Ruben Amorim as their new head coach amidst the huge release clause on the Portuguese gaffer. 

After fulfilling his commitments with Sporting, the highly rated Portuguese manager will join the Premier League club, including a crucial Champions League clash against Manchester City and three other games. This strategic move will allow for a smooth transition and minimise disruption to both clubs.

Amorim’s release clause of €10 million will be triggered, with United also agreeing to pay an additional €1m fee to expedite his arrival. The club is also working on facilitating the transfer of several key members of Amorim’s coaching staff.

In the interim, Ruud van Nistelrooy will continue to serve as interim manager, overseeing the team during the next few matches, including crucial Premier League fixtures against Chelsea and Leicester City, as well as a Europa League clash with PAOK.
