Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has showered praises on Atalanta and their manager, Gian Piero Gasperini, labeling them as a worthy example.
Ahead of his side’s clash against Atalanta on Sunday, Conte praises them for their achievements, declaring them a dangerous team for his side.
During the press conference for the game, Conte said, “There is danger because it is a strong team, which won the Europa League by beating Bayer Leverkusen who had an unbeaten run.”
“It is a team that today should be counted among the strong ones, without a doubt.”
Crediting the manager for the successes of the club, Conte gave a remarked Gasperini, stating be has great respect for the man.
“Great credit to Gian Piero, now Atalanta are known as a strong team and they can be an example for us because we have to take steps to become strong and aim for important things.”
“I also have great respect for Gian Piero who was also my coach. I respect him a lot, through hard work he has achieved results, you don’t win the Europa League if you are not strong.
Conte and Gasperini have worked together in Juventus, as the Atalanta boss was coach of the youth team.
