James Harden made history last night, surpassing Ray Allen’s record for the second-most three-pointers made in NBA history, with a total of 2,974 career three-pointers. The Los Angeles Clippers’ star achieved this milestone in their game against the Utah Jazz, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.

Harden’s accomplishment puts him squarely behind Stephen Curry, the current record holder with 3,779 three-pointers. When asked about potentially surpassing Curry’s record, Harden expressed his admiration for Curry’s shooting ability, saying “He can shoot the s**t outta the ball”. However, Harden also acknowledged that catching Curry might be a tall order, stating “I probably won’t catch Steph. I don’t think anybody could, honestly”.

This achievement is a testament to Harden’s hard work and dedication to his craft. As he mentioned in a post-game presser, “It’s huge just seeing Ray Ray and the sniper he was, the big-time shots he took and he made. And now just being a part of that legacy is a great accomplishment.

The Clippers’ next game will be against the Golden State Warriors, with Curry’s status uncertain due to a knee issue. Will Harden continue to close the gap with Curry? Only time will tell, but for now, he’s basking in the glory of his historic achievement.
