Morocco displayed their dominance as they dismantled Lesotho 7-0 to closed out the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Winning in an emphatic fashion, the Atlas Lions made it six out of six to earned a perfect record at the qualifiers.
Real Madrid forward, Brahim Diaz, scored a hat-trick, while Soufiane Rahimi added a brace, with Youssef En-Nesyri and Ismael Saibari completing the riot.
With five goals in the first half, courtesy of Diaz’s hat-trick and Rahimi’s brace, the hosts dominated Lesotho.
Youssef En-Nesyri and Ismael Saibari scored to finish the rout as the Atlas Lions continued to play with intensity in the second half.
Morocco had 24 goal differential at the end of the qualifying campaign, demonstrating their readiness for the 2025 AFCON, which will be on home soil.
The Atlas Lions are also one of the tournament favourites to win the AFCON.
