Paul George exited the LA Clippers’ loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder with an apparent left knee injury, which is a major concern for the team. This isn’t George’s first knee issue; he suffered a hyperextended left knee in a preseason game on October 14, 2024. The good news is that his knee remained structurally intact, and he was expected to make his season debut on November 3, 2024.

As for the latest injury, details are still scarce, but it’s clear that George’s health is crucial to the Clippers’ success. Coach Ty Lue mentioned that George was still being evaluated, and teammate Kawhi Leonard expressed concern, saying, “We’ll see. We got a group of guys that still want to win, that like to play basketball, so we’ll see what happens”.

The Clippers are already feeling the impact of George’s absence, and his return will be eagerly awaited. With nine regular-season games remaining, the team’s fifth position in the Western Conference is at stake. Fingers crossed that George’s injury isn’t too severe and he’ll be back on the court soon.
