Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 97-81 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Emirates NBA Cup championship game, earning himself the NBA Cup MVP award in the process. This guy’s resume is getting longer by the day – he’s now the first player in NBA history to have won regular season MVP (twice), Defensive Player of the Year, All-Star MVP, Finals MVP, and now NBA Cup MVP.

But what’s even more impressive is how he’s leading his team. Despite a rocky 2-8 start to the season, the Bucks have turned things around, winning 13 of their last 16 games. And in the NBA Cup championship game, Giannis put up a dominant triple-double with 26 points, 19 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, and three blocks. His teammate Damian Lillard also had a solid game, with 23 points, four rebounds, and four assists.

The Bucks’ win is a confirmation to their teamwork and determination. As Giannis said, “We’re getting better… We know we’re leaving Vegas as a better team”. And with Giannis at the helm, it’s hard not to see them making a deep run in the playoffs.
