The Liga giants, who collected another domestic title and a Champions League crown in 2023-24, made 1.05bn euros (£883m/$1.09bn) last season. This is the highest revenue recorded by any football club, illustrating how their financial success reflects their achievements on the field.
In second place in the Money League is Premier League champions Manchester City. They earned impressive revenue figures of £708 million, equivalent to $872 million, while winning the title for a record-setting fourth consecutive time.
However, Manchester City is currently facing an ongoing struggle with 115 charges related to Financial Fair Play regulations. French club Paris Saint-Germain comes in third place with revenue of £681 million, or $839 million.
Following them is Manchester United, a struggling Premier League team, which reported earnings of £651 million, about $802 million. United is also undergoing cost-cutting measures under the co-ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS team. Rounding out the top five in Deloitte’s ranking is Bayern Munich, with revenues of £646 million, or $796 million.
In total, there are nine English clubs represented in the top 20. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle, and West Ham have all maintained their positions. Additionally, Aston Villa has seen a rise in their status after finishing in the top four last season and earning a spot in the Champions League.
Moreover, five more Premier League clubs—Brighton, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham, and Wolves—are included in the top 30. On the other hand, Barcelona has slipped from fourth to sixth place due to a £53 million reduction in matchday revenue. This decrease is attributed to ongoing redevelopment work at Camp Nou.
