Bronny James made some candid comments after the Los Angeles Lakers’ 118-104 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. He acknowledged that he’s still getting used to the pace of the game, saying “I feel like I’m a whole lot more prepared now”. This comes after he played a career-high 15 minutes, although he struggled to make an impact, going 0-for-5 from the field.

Bronny also showed maturity in recognizing his limitations, particularly when faced with speedy guards like Tyrese Maxey, who dropped 43 points in the game. Bronny admitted that Maxey’s speed and shooting ability made it tough for him to defend.

It’s worth noting that Lakers coach JJ Redick took responsibility for putting Bronny in a tough spot, saying he might have thrown him into the fire too quickly. Despite the loss, Bronny’s honesty and willingness to learn are promising signs for his development as a player.
