AS Roma and Napoli played a 1-1 draw as Angelino’s late leveller stopped Serie A leaders Napoli from extending their lead at the summit.
Napoli had the chance to move five points clear at the top after second-placed Inter settled for a draw against rivals AC Milan in the Derby di Milano.
Leonardo Spinazzola gave Napoli the the lead against his former club in the 29th minute. The defender received the ball from Juan Jesus before lofting over Mile Svilar to open the scoring.
After the break, Leandro Paredes almost levelled for Roma as his free-kick went in.
However, the visitors got stunned as they conceded a late goal, courtesy of Angelino’s brilliant volley.
The left back sent a first time volley into the back of the net, after Alexis Saelemaeker delivery a brilliant cross.
Both Milan settled for a draw as the points were shared, leaving Inter still, in second place position.
