A massive three-team trade is shaking up the NBA, with De’Aaron Fox heading to the San Antonio Spurs and Zach LaVine joining the Sacramento Kings. The Chicago Bulls are also involved, receiving Kevin Huerter, Tre Jones, and Zach Collins in the deal.
The Spurs are getting a huge boost with Fox, who’ll team up with Victor Wembanyama to form a formidable duo. Fox, averaging 25 points, 6.1 assists, and five rebounds per game, is expected to sign a max extension with the Spurs this summer.
Meanwhile, the Kings are replacing Fox with LaVine, who’s having a stellar season with 24 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game. LaVine will reunite with former Bulls teammate DeMar DeRozan in Sacramento.
The Bulls, on the other hand, are rebuilding and will receive their own 2025 first-round pick back from the Spurs, along with Huerter, Jones, and Collins.
This trade has significant implications for the Western Conference, and it’ll be exciting to see how these new duos perform.
