The Milwaukee Bucks have made a significant trade, sending Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, and a 2028 first-round pick swap to the Washington Wizards. In return, the Bucks received Kyle Kuzma, Patrick Baldwin Jr., and a 2025 second-round pick.

This trade marks the end of an era for Middleton, a three-time All-Star who played a key role in the Bucks’ 2021 championship team. However, injuries have limited his contributions over the past few seasons, and he has played in just 23 games this season.

The arrival of Kyle Kuzma brings a new dynamic to the Bucks’ lineup. The 28-year-old forward is averaging 15.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game, and is expected to provide a more durable and versatile option alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The trade also provides the Bucks with financial flexibility and the potential to make additional moves before the trade deadline. With the addition of Kuzma and the draft picks, the Bucks are well-positioned to make a deep playoff push.
