Nikola Jokic made history last night, logging the NBA’s first-ever 30-20-20 game as the Denver Nuggets took down the Phoenix Suns 149-141 in overtime. He achieved this incredible feat with 31 points, a career-high 22 assists, and 21 rebounds.
This performance not only marked a milestone in Jokic’s career but also led the Nuggets to their second straight win. They’ve now taken three of their four meetings with the Suns this season.
Jokic’s impressive stats also included his 29th triple-double of the season and 159th of his career. He shot 13-of-22 from the floor, 3-of-7 from three, and 2-of-3 from the free-throw line.
The Nuggets had a strong team effort, with Aaron Gordon tying his career best with seven 3-pointers and finishing with 27 points. Christian Braun scored 25 points, and Jamal Murray contributed 19 points and eight assists.
