Inter Milan defeated Feyenoord 4-1 on aggregate to set up a quarterfinal clash against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The Italian side won 2-1 in the second leg of the round of 16 tie, having won 2-0 away from home in the first leg.
Goals from Marcus Thuram and Hakan Calhanoglu sealed the return leg fixture to qualify for the quarter final.
Simone Inzaghi’s side netted early to open the contest brightly, as Marcus Thuram scored a superb solo goal. The Frenchman drove into the box from half yard, before firing into the top right corner.
Inter were later pegged back by a Jakub Moder penalty three minutes before half-time. The Polish was clattered in the box by Calhanoglu and the former Brighton midfielder made no mistake from the spot.
The Turkey international made up for his error after the break, converting a penalty after Thomas Beelen fouled Mehdi Taremi in the box.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan missed a chance from just inside, while Thuram also hit the bar five minutes later, as Inter searched for more goals.
The Dutch side also posed several threats, as they had 14 attempts on goal but only made one count.
Inter will eventually face Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich in the quarter-final.
