Real Betis enjoyed a 4-0 away win over Portuguese side, Vitoria, to qualify for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

The Spanish side made it a 6-2 aggregate win, having played a 2-2 draw, when they hosted the Portuguese side.

A brace goal from Cedric Bakambu and singles from Antony and Isco settled the second leg victory in Vitoria.

Betis surged early as they opened the scoring in the 5th minute when defensive errors allowed Bakambu beat Bruno Varela. With Mikel Villanueva out of the defensive line and Toni Borevković mistimed interception, the ex-villareal forward racing into the box and slotting the ball through Varela’s legs.

The Spanish side sustained their supremacy and doubled the lead in the 20th minute. Aitor Ruibal’s deflected cross perfectly met Bakambu, who headed the ball into the net.

The Spanish side killed the tie as they added the third in the 58th minute when Isco released Antony who found the bottom corner.

Antony then assisted the fourth, as he bursted past Mikel Villanueva before teeing up Isco for a simple finish.

Meanwhile, the Portuguese side just had their first home defeat since September 2024.

Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis will then face Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok, in the quarterfinals.
