AC Milan came from behind to defeat Como, 2-1, while Dele Alli was sent off just 10 minutes into his comeback.

Goals from Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders gave Conceicao’s side the victory over the newly-promoted side.

Como had taken a 33rd-minute lead at San Siro with Nico Paz setting up Lucas da Cunha, who beat Mike Maignan with a first-time strike.

The Frenchman almost doubled the lead six minutes into the second-half, as he sent a neat finish past Maignan. However, his effort was ruled out for offside in the buildup, following a VAR review.

Milan then stunned the visitors 30 seconds after with the equaliser. Midfielder Tijjani Reijnders teed up Christian Pulisic, who volley home to make the scoreline levelled.

Reijnders completed the comeback as he finished neatly in the 75th minute to earn all three points for Milan.

The visitors could not respond and were reduced to 10 men in stoppage time, with substitute Dele shown a straight red card on his debut.

The ex-Tottenham man returned for his first appearance since 2023, but his joy turned sour. He was given his marching orders for stamping down Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s leg few minutes after being substituted in.

Como head coach, Cesc Fabregas, was also sent off for dissent, following Alli’s marching order, as Milan claimed the victory.
