Josh Giddey made an incredible half-court shot at the buzzer to give the Chicago Bulls a thrilling 119-117 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. This shot capped off an electrifying finish, with the Bulls coming back from an 18-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
Giddey’s heroics began when he stole an inbound pass from LeBron James, leading to a Coby White three-pointer that put the Bulls up 116-115 with 6.1 seconds left. However, Austin Reaves quickly responded with a layup to put the Lakers back in front, setting the stage for Giddey’s game-winner.
The Australian guard’s shot was a 46-foot driving, floating three-pointer that will surely be remembered as one of the most clutch moments of the NBA season. Giddey finished the game with a triple-double, scoring 25 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and dishing out 11 assists.
