AC Milan booked their place in the Coppa Italia final, after a 3-0 win secured a 4-1 aggregate victory over rivals Inter at San Siro.
A brace from Luka Jovic and goal from Tijjani Reijnders, gave the Rossoneri the triumph over their neighbours.
Sergio Conceicao’s side rode to the cup final, while also ending the Nerazzurri’s hopes of completing the treble this season.
Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg,Inter were the better side in the first half, but were unable to make their chances count.
Federico Dimarco rattled the crossbar, while Mehdi Taremi cushioned Nicolo Barella’s cross into the path of Lautaro Martinez, who fired over from close range.
However, Conceicao’s Milan broke the deadlock in the 36th minute, with Jovic heading home Alex Jimenez’s cross past Josep Martinez.
The Serbian then doubled the lead within four minutes of the restart, after Theo Hernandez’s deep corner fell kindly to him.
Inter tried to get back into the game but Mike Maignan came to Milan’s rescue with a wonderful save to deny Stefan de Vrij’s pinpoint header.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri sealed the victory with the third goal, as Reijnders coolly slotted home Rafael Leao’s assist.
AC Milan have now sealed first Coppa Italia final since 2018 and will hope to lift the trophy for the third time.
They will be facing either of Bologna or Empoli in the showpiece next month.
