Barcelona edged Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final as the Catalans won 3-2 in to claim the title.
Jules Kounde sealed the victory in extra-time as his screamer gave Barca the win against Los Blancos.
Following a 2-2 draw in regular time, the Frenchman stole the ball from a waiting Fran Garcia, before beating Thibaut Courtois in the 116th minute with a low strike from 22 yards into the bottom corner.
Hansi Flick’s side were the better side in the first half and they showed their dominance with a goal. They got the lead in the 26th minute with Pedri’s fantastic stunner from outside the box after Lamine Yamal’s cut-back.
Madrid got back into the game after Kylian Mbappe’s introduction in the beginning of the second half. The equaliser then came in the 70th minute as Mbappe curled a free-kick into the bottom corner.
Los Blancos took the lead seven minutes later as Aurelien Tchouameni headed home from Arda Guler’s corner.
However, Barcelona levelled when Ferran Torres ran onto Yamal’s long ball, rounded goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois before slotting in.
Barca almost sealed the contest in injury time when they were awarded a penalty for Raul Asencio’s tackle on Raphinha. But the decision was overturned after a long video assistant referee check.
The game rode unto extra-time and the Catalonian side took home the victory, with Kounde’s goal the difference.
The game ended bitterly for Real Madrid as Antonio Rudiger was shown a red card from the bench.
Barcelona went on the claim their second trophy this season, at the expense of Madrid, having won the Spanish Super Cup against Ancelotti’s side.
The Catalans also made it their 32nd Copa del Rey title in history, and their third El Clasico win this season.
