Inzaghi Dismisses Any “Fear” Of Man City In The Champions League Final

As Inter Milan gears up for the Champions League final against the formidable Manchester City, their head coach Simone Inzaghi has emphasized that his team has no fear of their opponents.

He insisted that despite Inter’s 13-year hiatus from the final of the competition, they approach the match in Istanbul with confidence, while acknowledging City’s status as strong contenders and their pursuit of the treble.

“We’re talking about a football match, there’s no fear,” Inzaghi told reporters.

“We have a lot of respect but we’re proud to play this final because we wanted it with every fibre of our being.”

Also speaking, Inter’s central defender, Alessandro Bastoni said he was unconcerned about the prospect of locking horns with the powerful Norwegian.

“You are scared of murderers, not football players. It would be a mistake to talk about fear,” he said.

“It’s not Haaland versus Inter it’s Manchester City versus Inter.

“There’s no fear, just the right level of tension. More than anything there is happiness… I can’t wait to get out on the pitch.”
