Following the contract extension of Toni Kross, Real Madrid has extended the contract of Dani Ceballos until June 30 2027.
The midfielder’s previous deal was set to expire at the end of the month and he had been tipped to leave the Spanish capital in pursuit of regular game time. However, as things stand, Ceballos will be a part of Real Madrid’s team next season, despite the addition of Jude Bellingham.
Real Madrid’s official statement reads: “Real Madrid CF and Dani Ceballos have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2027.
“Dani Ceballos has played for Real Madrid in 120 games over four seasons, in which he has achieved 11 titles: two European Cups, three Club World Cups, two European Super Cups, one League, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
“Dani Ceballos has been international with Spain on 13 occasions. And he was European champion with the Spanish under-19 and under-21 teams.”
