Chelsea Rejects Manchester United’s Third Bid For Mason Mount

Chelsea’s long-standing valuation of £70m for Mason Mount has not been met by Manchester United’s latest offer, as the player and clubs continue the search for common ground.

However, it appears that Chelsea is willing to compromise and accept a lower fee of £58m, along with £7m in add-ons, in order to facilitate a deal for Mount who’s been hell-bent on moving away from the club after spells on the sidelines last season.

This adjusted valuation may be acceptable to United, who have been actively pursuing Mount and have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the talented England international. United is eager to receive a prompt decision on the potential transfer, as they are prepared to explore alternative targets if a deal cannot be finalized.

Although Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly shown interest in Mount, it appears that United is the most likely destination for the player, who has 100% personal terms agreed with United.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is also willing to meet in person and resolve the issue in all parties’ interests.
