Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has completed a move away from Old Trafford to Crystal Palace on a £15m deal plus £5m add-ons.

The England international who spent the last season on loan at Nottingham Forest severs his twelve-year stint at United, in pursuit of a first-team football that has eluded him throughout his stay at Manchester.

Speaking to Palace’s media after completing the move, Henderson said: “I’m absolutely delighted and buzzing to be here. I can’t wait to get started.

“This club has got great fans and has a lot of top players who are hungry to succeed. There’s something being built here, and I really want to be a part of it.”

The club’s chairman Steve Parish also: “Dean is a fantastic addition to our squad and goalkeeping unit. We have been long-term admirers of Dean’s, following his ascension through the ranks at Manchester United and England, but also his impressive achievements whilst on loan at Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United.”

The 26-year-old becomes the third summer signing at Selhurst Park following the arrivals of Jefferson Lerma and Matheus França.
