Reasons Jadon Sancho Fell Out Of Favour Under Erik Ten Hag

Jadon Sancho’s inability to keep to time and a tendency to sulk when things do not go his way has been revealed to be major reasons he was dropped in Manchester United.

Sancho’s attitude has been questioned by fans, teammates and superiors especially after joining United from Dortmund in a mouth-watering deal.

Since he joined Man United for £74 million from German side Borussia Dortmund, Sancho has scored just 12 goals and produced just six assists. This is a significant turn off comparing his performance in the Bundesliga, when he scored 17 goals and created 17 assists in the 2019–20 season.

He has been in the spotlight since Erik ten Hag left him out of the squad when they were to go against Arsenal. This was as a result of his performance in training.

This action then prompted Sancho to fire back on social media especially X and claim he had been made a scapegoat for United’s poor recent results before he hurriedly deleted the tweet hours later. Reports has also revealed a number of issues that Sancho has faced during his career, most of them relating to his time-keeping and a habit of sulking when things do not go his way

It was revealed that Jadon Sancho and Phil Foden were once dropped from an England Under-19 match against Latvia after turning up late to a team meeting. He was also punished by former Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre on several occasions for lateness, including missing matches against Barcelona and Borussia Monchengladbach.

Sancho will stay at United over the break for the international break, and his team’s next matchup against Brighton is in just under two weeks.
