Cameron Payne, a guard, has joined the Milwaukee Bucks from Phoenix Suns. Payne, a 6.1 point guard in the past eight NBA regular seasons have played for clubs like Oklahoma City, Chicago, Cleveland, and Phoenix where he had 327 appearances whereby starting in 56 games. Meanwhile, his 18.2 minutes per game ratio produced an average of 8.0 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 42.0% from the field and 36.3% from three.

During Payne’s four-season spell for the Phoenix Suns, he had an average of 9.8 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 20.2 minutes per game while shooting 43.4% from the field and 38.4% from outside the arc. The Murray State product had averages of 10.3, 4.5 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game last season.

Payne, who was originally selected by the Thunder with the 14th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draught, has played in 53 postseason games in his career, including an appearance in the NBA Finals in 2021. He averaged 6.4 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game throughout the postseason.

Milwaukee has 21 players on its roster as training camp gets underway. The attached roster has been revised.
