Real Madrid has tied another integral part of their squad to a new contract, following the announcement of Fede Valverde’s contract extension until 30 June 2029.

The Uruguayan international becomes the fourth recent player to have officially extended his contract with Madrid, following the extension of Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes until 2029, 2027 and 2028 respectively.

Valverde joined the Los Blancos from Peñarol back in 2016, aged 18, and he’s made 220 appearances hitherto whilst scoring 19 goals and winning 9 titles that include 1 Champions League, 2 Club World Cups, 1 European Super Cup, 2 LaLiga titles, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

Just like the others, the 25-year-old’s new release clause is also pegged at €1B.
