Ahead of their final Group match against Guinea-Bissau, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to be without Zaidu Sanusi, Alhassan Yusuf and Captain Troost-Ekong who have been battling fitness issues.
For Yusuf, the midfielder missed out on the Super Eagles’ win against Cote d’Ivoire, after suffering a knock in their opening draw to Equatorial Guinea, while Sanusi and Ekong, who converted the lone goal of the win over Ivory Coast joined Nigeria’s injury list and are doubtful for the remainder of the AFCON 2023.

With one leg already out of the AFCON 2023, the Djurtus will fancy their last chance at making a final statement in their fourth involvement in the competition when they face Super Eagles at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny later today.
Nigeria on the other need just a draw against the Group A whooping boys and their fellow West African counterparts to make the next round, with a victory poised to make them top the Group provided Ivory Coast get the better of Equatorial Guinea in the other match in the group.
