Paulo Rudisill, Another USMNT Upcoming Star Moves to Europe!

Paulo Rudisill, a US youth international, has signed with Dutch giants Feyenoord for his first European move. The Dutch club announced on Friday that the 18-year-old has signed a deal until 2026. The youth will join the under-18 squad for the rest of the season, and his chances of making the first team will be re-evaluated in the summer.

The head of Academy at Feyenoord says: Rini Coolen “Paulo is an attacking midfielder who can play in several positions, he is also insightfully strong and has the right winning mentality. Despite the fact that he has only been a Feyenoord player for a short time, he has quickly managed to adapt to the club. It’s great to see how hard he works every day to get the most out of himself.”

Rudisill earned his Feyenoord Under-18 debut last Friday in a 2-1 win over Groningen, and he was ‘on target’ throughout. The midfielder can play as a No.10 or out wide, and his versatility has helped him advance in recent years.

He has played for both the Under-16 and Under-17 USA youth squads at the international level. Most recently, he has competed with the USYNT in the U-17 FIFA World Cup, where they were eliminated in the round of 16 by eventual champions Germany in the 87th minute.This season, Rudisill will be coached by Robin van Persie, Feyenoord’s youth coach. The former Manchester United and Arsenal player is widely regarded as one of the best strikers of all time, and the youngster will be hoping to inherit some of that brilliance.
