Ruben Loftus-Cheek is currently enjoying one of the best forms of his life at AC Milan, having netted six goals in his last eight games for the Rossoneri. The English international has also expressed his enjoyment for his new attacking position.
On Thursday evening, he scored twice in Milan’s 3-0 Europa League play-off win against Rennes at San Siro, with the return leg set for next Thursday.

Despite initial fitness setbacks that hampered his career, the former Chelsea midfielder is now achieving a newfound consistency with the Rossoneri.
“I’ve been working on this getting to the right position to score and it’s going well now,” Loftus-Cheek told UEFA.com, Sky Sport Italia and Milan TV.
“I have played in various midfield roles, but this is a position I enjoy as I am closer to the goal. I try to enjoy myself on the field and I feel free when I play now.”
The 28-year-old is adapting to a more advanced role, as he’s currently positioned behind the centre-forward in a 4-2-3-1 formation under Stefano Pioli.
He said: “The secret is just that I am in good shape physically. I had problems a few months ago with that injury, but now I feel better and hope to continue like this.
“My personal best is 10 goals for the season, so we’ll see…”
AC Milan will be away at Renenes next week Thursday, as they hope to complete the job they’ve started and make it into the next stage of the Europa League.
