Madrid is having a tremendous season — Vinicius 

Vinicius Junior believes Real Madrid is having a tremendous season, following the club’s victory over Osasuna at the El Saldor Stadium on Saturday.

Vinicius scored a brace as Madrid ironed out a 4-2 win against the Los Rojillos to go 10 points on the La Liga table, edging closer to winning their 36th league title.

“It was a great game for the team, not just for me. We’re having a tremendous season, defending very well and going from strength to strength in attack, scoring a lot of goals,” the Brazilian told Realmadrid TV.

On his growth, the 23-year-old added, “I always try to improve my game and play inside more to score more goals. The coach has given me this responsibility and I’m taking advantage of it.

“I don’t think so much about the goals I score but about the ones I didn’t score. At the end of the game, I thought about the one I missed because I could have scored more goals. I work every season to score more goals.”

Vinicius has scored 6 goals in his last 4 games for Real Madrid, taking his tally to 18 goals and eight assists in 28 games this season.
