Bukayo Saka has set high standards for himself with the aim of becoming the “hero of the new generation”. He plans to do this by guiding Arsenal and England to greater glory. Reaching the pinnacle of club and international football, the rising star of Arsenal and English football is aiming for bigger honours.
He has become one of the Premier League’s most outstanding players. This is as a result of his quick ascent, winning accolades for his adaptability, inventiveness, and goal-scoring ability. Saka is incredibly popular off the pitch, with supporters of both Arsenal and the England national side vying for his attention.
The modest young man has promised to become the Messiah for the Gunners & Three Lions supporters and has acknowledged the admiration of supporters. In an interview with L’Equipe, he said:
“I know what it’s like to be in their place. I can see myself in them. At their age, I was the same. Now, I want to be the hero of the new generation”.
This season, Saka has been instrumental for Arsenal, contributing 16 goals and 13 assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. His stellar performances have played a pivotal role in Arsenal’s resurgence as they once again find themselves in contention for the Premier League title.
He added: “The more you grow, the more certain things motivate you, making my debut with Arsenal, playing in the Champions League, being called up for England. Now, there are other ambitions. I always had this determination to succeed. If you don’t believe in yourself, you create problems for yourself. Of course I had my issues, the usual ones you face in life, but I always try, and still do try to eliminate fear from my mind.”
Saka would undoubtedly be in the news again as Arsenal gets ready for a pivotal Premier League matchup against Manchester City this Sunday. It might not be long before he adds to his trophy collection and cements his place in football history due to his talent and persistent determination.
