Steph Curry has agreed to a four-year, $215 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors. This extension takes him through the 2025–26 season, making him the first player in NBA history to sign two contracts worth over $200 million. Curry’s impressive performance last season, where he averaged 32 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game, solidified his position as a key player for the Warriors.

Curry has led the Warriors to five straight NBA Finals and championships in 2015, ’17, and ’18, and has repeatedly proven himself to be one of the greatest shooters in NBA history. Meanwhile, his performance at the just concluded Paris Olympics, saw the USA win a record 17th gold medal.

There are also reports that Curry is eligible for another extension, which would add one year at $62.6 million to his current contract. However, it’s unclear if he will take this option, as it may limit his flexibility to leave the organisation in the future.
