Romelu Lukaku and Zambo Anguissa scored in second-half stoppage time as Napoli fought back for a 2-1 victory over Parma.

Newly promoted Parma, who stunned AC Milan last week, looked to claim another surprise win, scoring early in the first half.

Ange-Yoan Bonny gave Parma the lead in the 19th minute with a penalty after he was tripped by goalkeeper Meret.

The game took a twist when Parma goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki, was shown his second yellow card for a foul on David Neres with 15 minutes remaining. The Japanese was yellow carded for time wasting in the 63rd minute before receiving his matching order 12 minutes after.

With no substitutions available, defender Enrico Del Prato took over in goal for Parma. He could however not prevent his side from conceding as they succombed to two late goals.

New signing, Lukaku, came off the bench to equalise for Napoli in the second minute of stoppage time. Anguissa completed the comeback, heading home Leonardo Spinazzola’s cross in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Napoli also had to survive one last scare as Meret denied Pontus Almqvist to keep the win for Conte’s side.

Meanwhile, Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, was not included in Napoli’s squad for the game. The Nigerian has not been included in the official 23-man Serie A squad for this season, after the striker’s expected move away from the club failed to materialise.

The Saudi Pro League’s market remains open for a few more days. This opens the possibility of Oshimen moving to the Middle East next week.

As it stands, Victor Oshimen is frozen out of Napoli squad and would see no playing time.
