Juventus played a goalless draw with AC Milan at the San Siro, to maintain their unbeaten run in the league.

Both sides failed to light up the game as they were unable to break the deadlock all through the clock.

However, Thiago Motta’s side were the better side as they had more chances but unlucky not to make it count.

The first clear chance fell to Koopmeiners, but the Dutchman could only fire his shot into the side netting.

Milan goalkeeper, Mike Maignan, received his first test, just five minutes later with Gatti taking fire from about 25 yards. However, the attempt was fired straight at the Frenchman.

Few minutes after, the Old Lady attacked down the left-hand side, with Yildiz getting the better of Emerson Royal. The Turkish received a pass from Kephrem Thuram, cut passed Emerson, before releasing a venomous shot which went off target.

The second interval also failed to produce a spark, although Milan produced some attacking attempts but were all wasted.

The Rossoneri almost conceded, as Cambiaso was slipped through in the box, but his early low shot was blocked by Malick Thiaw.

Both sides became relaxed and were in search of a counterattacks at every opportunity, as the game lacked more inspiration.

Shortly after the 69th minute, Rafael Leao went down in the Juventus area, but the referee dismissed all claim for a penalty.

The game went on to a close with both sides settling for a draw, as the host had only an attempt on target.

Juventus however extended their unbeaten run in the league this season to 13 games.

AC Milan are seventh on the log, with 19 points, nine points behind leaders, Inter Milan. Juventus are currently seated in the fifth position, on 25 points.
