AC Milan has made a revised bid for Christian Pulisic an offer of €22 million in an effort to sign the 24-year-old this summer. The Serie A side saw an initial bid of €14m (£12m/($15m) eclipsed by Ligue 1 club Lyon, who offered Chelsea €25m (£21m/$27m). But it is said that Pulisic would prefer a transfer to Milan and would be willing to reject the French team in order to play at San Siro.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek already moved to Chelsea from Milan during the current transfer window and Pulisic could follow in his footsteps. The USMNT player admits he wants to go somewhere he can play regularly.
The current offer from Milan could be enough to secure Pulisic because Chelsea are rumored to demand more than €20 million (£17 million/$22 million). With the Serie A heavyweights, Pulisic has already agreed to personal terms.
Chelsea is now getting ready for the upcoming season under its new manager, Mauricio Pochettino. Later this month, the Blues are scheduled to depart for a preseason tour of the United States, although it’s unclear at this time whether Pulisic will travel with the team.
