In his fourth 30-point performance of the year, Cam Thomas scored 45 points for Brooklyn. Lonnie Walker IV scored 19 points, while Mikal Bridges scored 31. Brooklyn dropped to 0-3 at home and 3-4 overall.
Antetokounmpo had scored 817 points versus Brooklyn going into the game, more than any other opponent. Additionally, the Nets were missing forward Cam Johnson and centre Nic Claxton for the sixth straight game.

The Bucks led 17–5 at the end of the third quarter then scored 12 of the first 17 points in the fourth quarter to take a nine-point lead, even though they were behind by 10 points at the half.

With five minutes remaining, the Brooklyn Nets had taken a 115-12 lead thanks to a 12-0 run, which was spearheaded by Thomas, who scored seven of the team’s points.

However, Antetokounmpo’s nine points during that stretch and two significant blocks in the game’s closing minute helped the Bucks score 17 of the game’s last 27 points.
