Barcelona President Jaon Laporta responds to rumours about acquiring Erling Haaland

This is in light of rumours that Kylian Mbappe may join Real Madrid, a rival team.

The president of Barcelona was pleased to talk about his team’s transfer plans and provide an explanation for why the club doesn’t have to make a major summer acquisition expenditure. Laporta added Barcelona could make “one or two additions” to the squad but warned a big-name signing could disrupt the current team.

He told Mundo Deportivo: “It’s just that we don’t see it as necessary. There will be some tweaks.
