FC Barcelona won 2-1 in their fierce clash against rivals, Athletic Bilbao, to win their second game of the season.
Barca secured all three points to make it six in two games as they triumph over Athletic Club in their first home game of the season.
Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski gave the Catalans the victory as Oihan Sancet scored Bilbao’s only goal from the 12 yards.
Teenage starlet, Yamal, opened the scoring with a deflected strike in the 24th minute after both teams struggled to create chances.
Bilbao levelled back in the 42nd minute when Sancet scored from the penalty spot after Pau Cubarsi fouled Alex Berenguer in the box.
Lewandowski, who had twice struck the woodwork, got the winner for Barcelona in the 75th minute from a rebound.
The Polish also scored the winner in Barca’s opening game win against Valencia at the Estadio de Mestalla.
He is now the leading goal scorer in the league with three goals from two games, two against Valencia and one against Bilbao.
Barcelona will hope to extend their winning streak as they travel to face Rayo Vallecano on August 27.
