Barcelona have temporarily registered Dani Olmo and Pau Victor back to the squad, after been granted precautionary measures.
The Catalans were almost forced to lose both players over failure to meet LaLiga’s wage cap rules.
They have faced multiple rejections on attempts to register the duo, from La Liga and the Spanish Football Federation.
However, after the intervention of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), the Catalans can now call on both players for the upcoming fixtures, for the time being.
They received the precautionary measure required to register both players, as the CSD will now look over the case before making a final judgement.
The precautionary measure only runs until the 7th of April. This means that the Higher Sports Council have got three months to come to a decision on the matter. If it goes against Barcelona, it would mean that they cannot count on Olmo or Victor for the crucial final weeks of the season.
Meanwhile, La Liga, who are one of the institutions that has been left unhappy by the decision of the CSD, made the information official.
Olmo and Victor can now be involved in Sunday’s Spanish Super Cup final, which will be against Real Madrid.
