Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has revealed that the club has extended a fresh contract proposal to in-demand Canadian left-back Alphonso Davies.
Davies’ contract with Bayern Munich is set to conclude at the culmination of the 2024-2025 season. However, speculation linking him with a transfer to Real Madrid has been on the rise in recent months.
In a conversation with Bild, Eberl said, “We sent Alphonso a very concrete, appreciative offer. At some point in your life, you have to say yes or no
“Real Madrid hasn’t contacted us,” the 50-year-old reacted to reported interests from Los Blancos.
Ever since he joined Bayern from Vancouver Whitecaps in January 2019, Davies has won five Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokal titles and a Champions League title.
If the reports are anything to go by, the 23-year-old is all but certain to be plying his trade at the Santiago Bernabéu come next season.
