Recently crowned La Liga champions Real Madrid extended their dominance with a resounding 4-0 victory over Granada at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes on Saturday.
Despite Granada’s initial resilience, Madrid—who were involved in an intense midweek outing—gradually asserted control, and opened scoring in the 28th minute through Fran García.
A few minutes before the halftime break, the Granada’s misery was compounded when Arda Güler redeemed himself for an earlier missed opportunity by finding the back of the net for his third league goal in his third start.

Real Madrid continued to dominate in the second half, extending their lead with a brace from Brahim Díaz.
The Moroccan got his first in the 49th minute from a Dani Ceballos assist before Luka Modric set him up for the side’s fourth goal 10 minutes later.
Granada, unable to provide any form of response, succumbed to defeat, allowing Real Madrid to maintain their clean sheet record and gather momentum for their upcoming Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund on June 1.
