David de Gea saved two penalties for Fiorentina, setting the stage for Friorentina’s 2-1 victory over Milan.

The game saw three missed penalties and produced two red cards. However, Albert Gudmundsson scored the winner to give the home side the victory, and halt Paulo Fonseca’s Serie A winning run.

The hosts had the first spot-kick of the game, with Moise Kean’s effort saved by Mike Maignan. The forward also had a goal disallowed for offside.

De Gea kept the host ahead at the break, as he superbly denied Theo Hernandez from the penalty spot.

On the restart of the game, Kean had a second goal disallowed for offside again. Few minutes later, Milan wasted another golden opportunity from 12 yards. De Gea rescued his side once again as he got down well to keep out Tammy Abraham this time.

Milan later got the leveller, courtesy of  Christian Pulisic’s perfect volley, as the game got more entertaining.

Gudmundsson ensured de Gea’s efforts were not wasted as he drilled a low shot past Maignan to put Fiorentina back in front in the 73rd minute.
